Officers of the Union of Laguna University Tourism Associates (ULUTA) took part in a province-wide conference on November 23, 2024, aimed at empowering youth leaders to take action against climate change.
The event was organized by UPLB Ugnayan ng Pahinungod, the Laguna Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Office, and the Youth Development Affairs Office of Laguna, gathering Recognized Student Organization (RSO) officers from various colleges and universities in the province.
Through a series of discussions and interactive sessions, the conference focused on equipping participants with practical strategies for climate change mitigation and adaptation. ULUTA officers actively participated in workshops designed to help student leaders integrate sustainability practices into their respective organizations and local communities.
The conference highlighted the vital role of the youth in addressing environmental challenges and emphasized collaborative approaches to achieving climate resilience. -EUN
