Accounting Information System (AIS) students from City College of Calamba and Laguna University can most definitely relate to that, as Elyon Solution International Inc. imparted enlightening knowledge that they can use with their future careers.
The Laguna University – Accounting Information System Society (LU-AISSoc), alongside Elyon Solutions International Inc., hosted a webinar entitled “Analyzing Data: Turning Numbers into Insights,” held this April 26, via Zoom.
The four-hour webinar provided students with insightful wisdom, highlighting the company’s expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and empowering students to pursue Data-Driven ERP careers.
“AIS students can be ERP Data Champions,” shared Ms. Celeste Panlilio, CEO of Elyon Solutions, as she encouraged students to learn more about ERP while presenting relevant fields. Meanwhile, Mr. John Panlilio, the COO, introduced the company’s Mission, Vision, and background, setting foundation for the said topic.
After gaining familiarity with the company’s history and goals, Ms. Esperanza Lee, the Solution Specialist, thoroughly explained the ERP and its functionalities. She also organized a workshop where students actively participated. Notably, one of the students, Ms. Princess Gweneth Cornelio, 3rd year representative of Laguna University, was selected to present her output and received a cash prize from the company.
ERP Data Analysis is a broad field to explore; multiple institutions demand it. So, for 247 students of AIS, the soon-to-be data champions, set off on an endeavor that awaits.
