Laguna University (LU) strengthens its commitment to public service by becoming the newest member of the Multi-Sectoral Advisory Committee (MSAC) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s (DILG) Laguna Sub-Laguna Governance Resource Center (LGRC).
Through this partnership, LU’s Research and Development Center (RDC) will play a key role in shaping the future of local governance. Imagine a toolbox brimming with resources, strategies, and innovative solutions to empower our communities! That’s exactly what LU RDC and DILG-MSAC are building together.
Here’s what LU will bring to the table:
- Research Powerhouse: LU RDC will conduct in-depth studies to identify best practices and uncover innovative solutions for local government challenges.
- Data Driven Decisions: Expert analysis by LU researchers will transform data into actionable insights, guiding the development of effective policies and programs.

Together, LU and DILG are paving the way for a brighter future! Signing the MOA in this momentous occasion were Dr. Monette O. Bato, OIC-President of LU, Mr. Jay Beltran, Officer-in-Charge of DILG Laguna, officials from other universities and government agencies while witnessing were Dr. Marie Joy Q. Elomina, Research Director of LU, and DILG personnel.
