The Laguna University Placement, Alumni, and Linkages Office (PALO), in its initial year of DOLE -PO accreditation as the first local university in Laguna to become a Job Placement Office, recently conducted the Second LU Job Fair 2025 last June 10, 2025 (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) at the Laguna Sports Complex Gymnasium. In collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment- Provincial Office (DOLE-PO) and Provincial Public Employment Service Office (Provincial PESO), a total of thirteen (13) companies and two (2) government agencies participated and provided essential services for first-time job seekers.
With the assistance of the Community Extension Services Unit CESU) and Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), A total of seventy-two (72) graduating students registered for employment and thirteen (13) were hired on the spot, four (4) were scheduled for final interview, and sixty-two (62) were set for further interview.
LU-AAI sponsored the lunch, while DOLE-PO and Provincial PESO sponsored the coffee station and the Provincial Nutrition Action Office provided NUTRIBUN. The Interns from the Laguna University DOLE-GIP took charge in the cleanliness and orderliness of the event.
