May 19, 2025 — Laguna University led the weekly flag-raising ceremony at the Provincial Capitol of Laguna, showcasing its key contributions to the development of the Province under Governor Ramil L. Hernandez’s “Serbisyong Tama” program.
The ceremony, attended by department heads and personnel from various government agencies, emphasized the collaborative efforts of Laguna University (LU) and Provincial Government of Laguna (PGL) in advancing education, research, and community engagement in support of the “Serbisyong Tama” program.
During the program, LU President Dr. Charlemagne G. Lavina presented an audio-visual report highlighting the accomplishments of the university. The presentation featured LU’s initiatives in academic excellence, research advancement, and extension services aligned with the PGL’s commitment to transparent and efficient public service. President Lavina emphasized that “behind each number and initiative is a story of perseverance, innovation, and commitment to public service.”
More than a routine observance, the ceremony became a testament to Laguna University’s commitment to its mandate—to deliver accessible, quality, and relevant higher education that empowers the youth and contributes to the sustainable development of the province.
