New Students

Laguna University shall admit students of good moral character, those who comply with the required school credentials, and those who are willing to abide by the established guidelines of the University.

Scoring and Interpretation of LU Admission Test (LUAT) shall be facilitated by the Admissions Office. LUAT is a screening tool used by the University for entering collegiate program students.

The requirements for admission are the following:

a. Applicant shall accomplish the LUAT Application Form (LU:AA-FO-97) and pass the Laguna University Admission Test (LUAT). Application fee is covered by Republic Act 10931, known as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act.

b. Applicant shall comply with the following admission requirements:

i. Original Copy of Form 138/SF9 (Progress Report Card)
ii. Original Copy of Form 137-A/SF10 (Permanent Record)
iii. Original Copy of Certificate of Good Moral Character signed by the Senior High School (SHS) principal/Guidance Counselor
iv. Photocopy of Birth Certificate
v. For Female married applicant, submit photocopy of authenticated Marriage Contract
vi. Two pieces passport size pictures with nametag
vii. Long Thick Brown Envelope

c. In cases where requirements are not yet available, except for F138/SF9 (Report Card), a notarized Affidavit of Undertaking (LU:AA-FO-67) shall be submitted by the student prior to enrollment. Admission requirements shall be submitted within the semester. Otherwise, enrolment in the succeeding term will not be permitted.

d. Applicant shall meet the following requirements for board programs i.e. Accountancy, Education, Mechanical Engineering, Psychology, and Midwifery.

Category 2
LUAT of 75-79%
90% GWA with no grades lower than 80%

Non-STEM Graduate

LUAT of 85% or higher
95% GWA with no grades lower than 85%

Transferees

From an Engineering

LUAT-passed
85% GWA with no grades lower than 80%
Should pass the qualifying exam

From non-Engineering
program

LUAT-passed
90% GWA with no grades lower than 85%
Should pass the qualifying exam

ACCOUNTANCY

ABM Graduate                                                                              

LUAT-passed
90% GWA with no grades lower than 85% in any Accounting and Business-related courses.
Pass the interview

Non-ABM Graduate

LUAT-passed
Will be admitted to BS Accounting Information System (BSAIS)

EDUCATION
