Newly appointed Laguna University President Dr. Charlemagne G. Laviña met with student leaders from various organizations on March 21, 2025, to discuss collaborative efforts aimed at improving the university experience.
Held in the university conference room, the meeting began with a prayer and an introduction of Dr. Laviña. The dialogue provided a platform for students to express their concerns and engage in discussions with the administration. Dr. Laviña emphasized his commitment to inclusive leadership, student empowerment, and institutional excellence. He outlined plans for program enhancements and strategic initiatives to address campus issues, calling for teamwork in strengthening university values.
Student leaders were given the opportunity to raise concerns and ask questions, with the administration assuring active participation in student affairs. Dr. Laviña pledged support for campus-related activities and highlighted the importance of capacity building, strategic partnerships, and income-generating projects to expand scholarship opportunities.
