The Laguna University–Young Entrepreneurs Society (LU-YES) has been named one of the Top 20 Finalists in the Most Outstanding Organization for the People Award at the Ten Outstanding UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Awards (TOUSA).

LU-YES emerged from more than 600 global entries under the category, recognized for its innovative programs, measurable impact, and sustained efforts aligned with the United Nations SDGs. Although not selected as this year’s category winner, the organization’s inclusion among the Top 20 Finalists underscores its commitment to youth leadership, social equity, environmental sustainability, and community-based development initiatives.

The organization submitted its entry in October 2025, featuring programs and projects implemented during the previous administration, as well as the annual projects and plans of the current leadership. As a Top 20 Finalist, LU-YES will join a cohort of organizations receiving support aimed at sustaining growth and expanding impact, and will be eligible for consideration in next year’s Ten Outstanding UN SDG Awards.
