The Laguna University Placement, Alumni, and Linkages Office, in partnership with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Region IV-A Lucena, conducted the first-ever “LU-PRC LET Application Mobile Service 2024” on July 10 at the Laguna Sports Complex Gymnasium.
The one-day service, running from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., assisted applicants in filing for the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). It catered to Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) graduates from Laguna University, as well as LET applicants from neighboring academic institutions.
The PRC team, led by Ms. Maria Lilibeth Esclanda and supported by members Mr. Janssen M. Quinto, Mr. Raymund D. Alvinez, Ms. Gloria G. Flores, Ms. Krisha E. Javelosa, and Mr. Rodmari O. Pastor, provided consultations on PRC-related concerns for teaching and non-teaching staff.
A total of 161 applicants were served, comprising 87 from Laguna University and 74 from other institutions. The initiative aimed to support students’ preparations for the upcoming LET in September 2024.
