Graduates of Laguna University’s Bachelor of Arts in Communication program will present their research at the 31st Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC) Annual Conference on October 9–11, 2025, in Mumbai, India.
Aliah C. Centilles, Edenne Jezael Bosque, and Lorenz Gabriel M. Collantes, with adviser Ms. Audrey Lou Dimasaca, will present their thesis “Gendered Marketing: Influence of Gender Roles in Selected Philippine Advertisements,” aligning with the conference theme “Navigating Digital Transformation in Media, Public Relations, and Advertising.”
This marks the second consecutive year that LU’s BA Communication program will be represented at AMIC. In 2024, Ms. Dimasaca and alumna Coleen Garcia presented their study in Beijing, China.
The team is currently working on sponsorship and crowdfunding initiatives to ensure their participation, with updates to be posted on the Communication Circle’s official Facebook page.
