ISO 21001 Orientation Held at Laguna University

On September 6, 2025, the Laguna University Management Committee invited representatives from INTERCERT, a multinational organization specializing in Audits and Assessments and a provider of Management System Certification, to deliver an orientation about ISO 21001. The event was held at the Conference Room of the Administration Building, and attended by the university officials and key personnel.

The ISO 21001 is the international standard designed for Educational Organizations Management Systems. It seeks to enhance the quality of educational services by offering a framework that harmonizes strategic objectives and raises learner satisfaction. This standard is used by any educational organization, regardless of size or style, that implements a curriculum to support competence development. It motivates institutions to use organized management techniques to apply a methodical quality approach.

Through the ISO certification, Laguna University seeks to strengthen its commitment to delivering quality education and services. The initiative supports the university’s vision of becoming a socially responsive institution of choice that develops holistic individuals for the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
