COED ACE Marks 3rd Year of Community Giving at Santisima Cruz Elementary School

The College of Education Accountable Children Educators (COED ACE) concluded its annual outreach initiative, COED ACE Time for Giving and Sharing, on June 10 at Santisima Cruz Elementary School as part of its support for Brigada Eskwela 2024.

Now on its third year, the program aims to strengthen community engagement, promote hands-on learning for its members, and instill the values of giving and sharing among Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) students.

This year’s donation drive focused on the distribution of educational and cleaning materials. The First year students donated supplementary reading materials, sophomores contributed workbooks, while juniors and seniors provided reading assessment tools. Other items donated included bookshelves, notebooks, pencils, crayons, posters, charts, and sanitation supplies like brooms and disinfectants.

“In the past, our donation drives included interactive programs such as storytelling. This year, we shifted to direct donation of practical resources to better support the school’s preparation for the new academic year,” said Jayza Annie Juavan, president of COED ACE.

Juavan also highlighted the sustained partnership between COED ACE and Santisima Cruz Elementary School, stating that their continued efforts aim to help the school replenish its learning resources and improve student learning outcomes.

The organization is committed to continuing the program in the coming years, recognizing its impact on primary education and the values it reinforce among future educators.
