CBAA Empowers Local Entrepreneurs Through Community Extension Program in Cavinti

Faculty and students from the College of Business and Accountancy (CBAA) of Laguna University successfully conducted a Community Extension Program on March 28, 2025, in Barangay Tibatib, Cavinti, Laguna. Themed “Local Trade: Building Through Essential Bookkeeping and Development,” the initiative focused on equipping local entrepreneurs with essential knowledge and skills to support business growth and sustainability.

The program featured interactive sessions led by BS Entrepreneurship students, who shared their personal business experiences and practical strategies for innovation and resilience. Their insights served as inspiration for local business owners to strengthen and expand their ventures.

In addition, BS Accountancy students conducted discussions on the importance of proper bookkeeping, and financial management techniques.

The event was made meaningful by the active participation of the Barangay Tibatib community and the collaborative efforts of CBAA students and faculty. Through this outreach, LU-CBAA continues to fulfill its commitment to community development by fostering entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and sustainable local trade.
