LU-AISSOC Holds its First-ever Pinning Ceremony for BSAIS Students

The Laguna University Accounting Information System Society  (LU-AISSOC) held its first-ever Pinning Ceremony for Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System (BSAIS) students on October 6, 2025, at the Laguna University Gymnasium.

The Pinning Ceremony was not only a solemn rite, but it was also a reminder of the responsibility that each pin carries. With the theme “Pin of Binding: A Mission of Promise,” the event began with the opening remarks by the OIC Dean of CBAA, Ms. Katrina Clare M. Labios, where she expressed a heartfelt message for the students.

Guest speaker Mr. Raven C. Tagle inspired the students through his message emphasizing direction over speed. Using the metaphor of two drivers on different journeys, he highlighted the importance of self-awareness, collaboration, and having clear goals in achieving success.

The highlight of the event was the Pinning Ceremony led by Mr. Tagle, adviser of LU-AISSOC, together with Mrs. Josie C. Jaime, adviser of LU-JPIA. As each student received their pin, the atmosphere was filled with gratitude, pride, and anticipation for the next chapter of their academic and professional growth.

The ceremony concluded with the oath-taking, administered by Ms. Rose Anjeannete A. Yu, where students pledged to uphold the values and responsibilities of their chosen field.

The Pinning Ceremony is the celebration of their hard-earned success and a symbol of responsibility. May their pins serve as a reminder of their accomplishments and their ability to achieve greatness as they move forward.
