Laguna University CS Department Hosts Hands-on Training on Arduino and Django

Laguna University Computer Science Department conducted a seminar on March 14, 2025 bringing together students from first to third year to enhance their skills in emerging technologies. The event, held at the RHL Building, Room 302, was themed “Unlocking Innovation: Exploring Arduino’s Potential & Shaping the Future of Web Development with Django.”

Ms. Chrisna L. Fulcio, BSIT Program Chair, opened the event with the welcome remarks, followed by an inspirational message from Ms. Joselle A. Banocnoc, Assistant Program Chair of BSCS. “Hindi naman kailangan magaling ka sa lahat, 70% attitude, 30% skill. ‘Tsaka lahat naman na-unlock na natin gawa ng internet, e-explore lang natin,” Banocnoc said.

In the morning session, Mr. Khen Juzelle Ravena, an expert in Arduino, provided an in-depth discussion on the technology, emphasizing  its applications in hydroponics.
