The Ribbon Cutting and Launching of Program HOPE: Community Library at Raymer Gawad Kalinga Village, Brgy. Gatid Sta. Cruz, Laguna is an exciting milestone for the community! A dedicated space for studying and support for the community in bridging significant gaps in educational resources and creating opportunities for parents to engage more closely with their children, the program will foster stronger family bonds and will enhance overall community support in terms of reading and other literacy programs.
Present during the launching are the Laguna University Officials, Laguna University-Community Extension Services Unit together with the CES Coordinators, Laguna University Library, Sangguniang Barangay ng Gatid, Magdalena (Pintong Pilak) Lion’s Club as one of the partners of CESU in conducting community extension projects, Laguna University-College of Education BEED 4th Year Students and the Homeowners Officials and residents of Gawad Kalinga Village.
This project will not be possible without the donations and assistance of the Provincial Government of Laguna, Ms. Carina F. Macalos – Provincial Government Assistant Department Head, LU teaching and non-teaching personnel, students, partners and stakeholders.
