The Information Technology Department of Laguna University conducted review classes and pre-assessment trainings for eighty five (85) second year BS Information Technology (BSIT) and BS Computer Science (BSCS) students scheduled to take the TESDA Assessment for National Certificate II, Computer System Servicing (TESDA NC II-CSS) on August 13 and 20, 2017.
The in-house review was held from June 19 to July 21, 2017 at LU Computer Laboratory 1. Trainors for the said review were, Prof. Shaine R. Maglapuz, Prof. Bermar L. Idian and Prof. Charles Alfred A. Cruz, faculty members of the Information Technology and Computer Science department. Meanwhile, Mr. Junie Basaca of Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial School of Arts and Trades, Binan, Laguna took charge of the 5-day pre-assessment training on the 4 Cores of Computer System Servicing, namely; Install and Configure Computer Systems, Set-Up Computer Networks, Set-Up Computer Servers and Maintain and Repair Computer Systems and Networks.
The TESDA NC II CSS review and pre-assessment trainings are part the student enhancement program of the IT Department, spearheaded by its Program Chair, Prof. Marlon L. Atanacio.
